BOARDMAN — A new Chick-fil-A restaurant at 480 Boardman-Canfield Road will open Thursday.

The restaurant, owned / operated by Billy James, will be open 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The fifth Chick-fil-A in the greater Youngstown market, the Boardman location will employ about 100 full- and part-time employees.

To mark the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to be distributed to partners in the region to help fight hunger. Also, the restaurant will participate in the company’s Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.
