The history of the League of Women Voters in the Mahoning Valley will be the topic of a Bites and Bits of History program at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., Youngstown.

The League of Women Voters’ mission is to ensure that women and others always have a voice in the decisions that are made for this country. Member Barbara Brothers will explore the organization’s 90 years of local history.

The program starts at noon Thursday, and admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch to enjoy during the program. The Mahoning Valley Historical Society series is sponsored by the John and Loretta Hynes Foundation.
