YOUNGSTOWN — A jury Wednesday found Dale E. Kennedy, 40, of Lauderdale Avenue, guilty of aggravated drug possession and drug possession, but not guilty of three other charges.

Kennedy went on trial Monday before Judge Maureen Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Kennedy faced three mid-level felonies — tampering with records, having weapons while not allowed and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. The jury found Kennedy not guilty of those charges.

Kennedy could get up to two years in prison on the two drug convictions. He could have gotten about seven years in prison on the three other charges if he had been convicted.
