‘Rocky Horror’ actor coming to Robins
WARREN — The actor who played Magenta in the film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is coming to the Robins Theatre in October for a screening of the cult classic.
Patricia Quinn, whose other screen credits include Monty Python’s “The Meaning of Life” and Rob Zombie’s “The Lords of Salem,” will accompany a screening of the original, unedited movie with a live shadow cast and audience participation.
“Rocky Horror” was a commercial flop when it was released in 1975, but it built a large following through midnight screenings that started in the late ’70s and continue to this day.
The event is scheduled at 7 p.m. Oct. 10. Tickets range from $35 to $65 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Robins box office and online at robinstheatre.com.
A VIP meet-and-greet package also will be available for $100 that includes a photo and autograph with Quinn and a special “Rocky Horror” VIP laminate.
