Boardman man killed in Portage motorcycle crash
BOARDMAN — A township man died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning on the turnpike in Portage County.
Jeremiah Vaudrin, 32, was driving west on Interstate 80 around 5:30 a.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle and drove off the right side of the road. He was ejected from the bike, which continued off the right side of the road and into a ditch, according to the Hiram Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Vaudrin was not wearing a helmet and the patrol said he may have been impaired at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation.
