CANFIELD — The South Range school board has set the salary for its new superintendent, Jarred Zapolnik, at $110,000 per year.

His hiring was announced Tuesday in a news release.

The board conducted a statewide search before deciding on Zapolnik, who was a principal at Massillon City Schools. He will start as superintendent Aug. 1.
