YOUNGSTOWN — North Side Pool in the city opened Wednesday, a couple of days late.

It was supposed to open on Monday, but an issue with the chemicals delayed it by several days, according to Clemate Franklin, executive director of the Youngstown Parks and Recreation Department.

Northside Pool at 2160 Belmont Ave. is open daily 1 p.m to 8 p.m. through Aug. 4.

Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for children.

It is the last remaining public swimming pool in the city. At one time, the city operated six of them throughout Youngstown.
