BROOKFIELD -- A Hubbard man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Yankee Run Road, north of Warren Sharon Road, after his motorcycle crashed head-on into an SUV Monday evening.
The Warren post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. when Eric Gill, 36, was driving a 2007 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide south on Yankee Run Road when he crossed the center line and struck a 2015 GMC Terrain being driven north by Gidget M. Homer, 48, of Masury.
Gill was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene, the patrol said. Homer was taken to St. Joseph Warren Hospital with minor injuries.
The patrol said the crash is under investigation, but alcohol is believed to be a factor.
