CAMPBELL -- A 1st Ward community cleanup is set for 9 a.m. to noon today in that part of the city, weather permitting.
Volunteers are to meet shortly before 9 in the Diamond Bar and Grill parking lot at 12th Street and Robinson Road. Much of the focus will be on removing trash, glass items, plastic products, fallen branches and paper from neighborhoods especially on Robinson Road as well as Murray and Wilson avenues, Timothy O'Bryan, D-1st Ward, said. Participants also will stack discarded tires.
Providing many of the supplies will be the Mahoning County Green Team and the Campbell Fire Department, he added.
