Youngstown Flea is back for eighth season
YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Flea is preparing to launch its eighth season.
“So many of our wonderful makers, creatives, dreamers and do-ers have had to adapt and overcome so many obstacles just to get to season eight, including The Youngstown Flea, as a small business,” said Derrick McDowell, the flea’s founder.
“Since 2016 the Youngstown Flea has fought to champion our community and provide a platform that supports area local small businesses. We’re honored by each and every supporter and shopper, and so thankful that we’re still here after seven seasons, to keep fighting.”
The self-proclaimed “market for makers” plans its once-per-month vendor “experiences” to incubate and support area local small businesses, he said.
Its upcoming “Made With Love” Market, surrounding the Valentine’s Day holiday, is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at its 365 E. Boardman St., Youngstown, building.
Full season eight dates are: Feb. 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 7 and Nov. 4.
Additional plans for “pop-up” and holiday markets, are in the works, McDowell announced. Visit http://YoungstownFlea.com for more details.
