Janice Stevens, 2018 president of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors, installs her husband, Michael Stevens, as the 2023 YCAR president at the organizationás 113th annual installation event Friday at Stambaugh Auditorium.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors held its 113th annual installation event on Friday at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

The association, whose jurisdiction covers Mahoning, Columbiana and parts of Trumbull County, was formed as a not-for-profit organization in 1910. Currently, membership consists of 840 Realtor members and 88 affiliate members.

The installation of 2023 President Michael Stevens of Coldwell Banker EvenBay Real Estate was conducted by his wife, Janice Stevens, who served as president in 2018.

Ralph Mantica, 2023 president of Ohio Realtors, installed the following officers and directors: President-Elect, Samantha Aldish of J. Arnold Real Estate Advisors; Treasurer, Sharon Drummond of RE/MAX Valley Real Estate; Immediate Past President, Dennis Gonatas of J. Arnold Real Estate Advisors; Director, Teresa Berick of Century 21 Lakeside Realty; Director, Lori Beulah of J. Arnold Real Estate Advisors; Director, Anthony Burrus of Brokers Realty; Director, Heather Cline of Keller Williams Chervenic Realty; Director, Kyle Cunningham of Kelly Warren & Associates; Director, Maggie Garland of Century 21 Lakeside Realty, Director, Theresa Liguori-Thompson of Howard Hanna Real Estate; Director, Michael Narducci of The Narducci Realty Group; Director, Emily Samsonow of Burgan Real Estate; and Affiliate Director Rocky Page of Farmers National Bank.

The event honored 2022 President Dennis Gonatas and retiring directors, Patrick Burgan of Burgan Real Estate; Kathy Carroll of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stouffer Realty; Jenna Koontz of Howard Hanna Real Estate and Tibitha Matheney of Century 21 Lakeside Realty.

Participating in the traditional “Passing of the Gavel of Leadership to the Incoming President” ceremony were past presidents Thomas D’Amico (1982), Joe Zidian (1992), Paul Bevilacqua (2000), Joanie Petrosky (2006), Kathy Carroll (2008), Dave Klacik (2010), Sue Filipovich (2016), Janice Stevens (2018), Jerri Florio (2019), Patrick Burgan (2020-2021) and Gonatas.

The association staff includes Roberta Hiller, executive assistant and member services; Breanna Koper, social media and events coordinator; Sarah Potkanowicz, administrative assistant; and Chief Executive Officer Julie Larson, RCE. Attorney Bryan Ridder serves as the association’s legal counsel and HD Davis CPAs serve as the association’s accountant.

Special guests in attendance included Mantica; Carol DeMusz, CEO of MLS Now; John Kurlich, COO of MLS Now; Kyle Oberlin, 2023 president of Stark Trumbull Area Realtors; and Collene Burgess, CEO of Stark Trumbull Area Realtors.
