LOWELLVILLE — One woman is dead, and another was in critical condition after a double-shooting Wednesday night in the 300 block of Watson Avenue, according to police.

Police Chief Rick Alli said late Wednesday a murder warrant has been issued for 38-year-old Jonathan Crago.

Alli said Lowellville police, the Mahoning County Task Force, Mahoning County Coroner’s Office, Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office and the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating leads for a possible shooter to “secure an apprehension.”

During the conference Alli said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

“These are definitely gunshot victims, so we are exploring all avenues to try to find our suspect,” Alli said.
