Holiday Vindicator available one day early
‘Early Bird’ edition for Thanksgiving on sale Wednesday elect news stands Wednesd at news stands for Wed.
Early release of the Thanksgiving Day newspaper once again is scheduled as an added convenience because many local stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and to give shoppers a head start in mapping out their Black Friday shopping plans a day early.
The Vindicator’s release of the “Early Bird” Thanksgiving Day edition — on select news stands Wednesday afternoon — has quickly become a holiday tradition.
Again, this year, The Vindicator’s Thanksgiving Day edition will be full of local deals in the form of holiday advertisements and advertising inserts, all in time for Black Friday holiday shopping.
“Just like turkey and stuffing and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, we know the Thanksgiving edition of The Vindicator also has become a holiday tradition for readers getting ready to hit area retailers early Friday morning,” newspaper General Manager Ted Snyder said.
To make sure readers have ample time to digest all the deals — along with their Thanksgiving dinner — and to map out their Christmas shopping plans, The Vindicator Thanksgiving Day edition will be available after 2 p.m. Wednesday at limited retail locations throughout the area.
“This year’s Thanksgiving edition will be stuffed with sales flyers totaling 120 pages of inserts,” Snyder said.
For locations where the Early Bird edition will be on sale, check the advertisement located on Page B7 in today’s newspaper.
Of course, the Thursday newspaper will be updated with the latest news and sports occurring throughout the day on Wednesday and will be delivered to all home subscribers as usual on Thursday, and it also will be available on the newsstands that remain open for the holiday on Thursday morning.
Snyder suggests subscribing to The Vindicator in order to get your hands on all the news and deals, without having to leave your house on Thanksgiving Day or risk missing out if this high-demand edition of the newspaper gets sold out early.
“The best way to be guaranteed a copy of the Thanksgiving edition is to be a home subscriber. But if you’re not, look for it at your favorite retail location,” Snyder said, adding due to the popularity of the annual Thanksgiving edition, The Vindicator has increased the number of copies available, and staff actively will be restocking at retail locations.
