The Ohio Lottery’s list of some 850 businesses that could be approved for sports betting kiosks includes dozens of venues in the Mahoning Valley.

Sports betting in the state becomes legal Jan. 1.

The following places have been prequalified to apply to the Ohio Casino Control Commission for Type C licenses, which applies to restaurants, bars and convenience marts, among others.

Austintown: Quaker Steak and Lube, Ice House Inn, JR’z Pub, Buffalo Wild WIngs, Shotz Bar and Grille, The Manor, Frenchy’s Irish Pub and Grill, Chipper’s Sports Bar, The Barrel Head Tavern, Barry Dyngle’s, Coaches Austintown.

Boardman: Cocca’s Pizza, Giant Eagle 4075, Legends Food and Drink, Camelot Lanes, Blue Wolf Tavern, Quench bar and Grill, Giangelo’s, Hole 55 Bar and Grill, Bruno brothers Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, Quaker Steak and Lube.

Campbell: Patsy’s bar and Grill, The Diamond Bar and Grill, Tavern 26.

Canfield: Cocca’s Pizza, Davidson’s Restaurant, Giant Eagle 6385, Belleria Express, The Pour House.
