YOUNGSTOWN — Kevin L. Talley, 51, of the Mahoning County jail and Hillman Way in Boardman, was indicted Thursday on charges of rape, attempted felonious assault and domestic violence.

These offenses are alleged to have happened April 1 in Boardman.

He was arraigned on the rape and domestic violence charges April 5 in Mahoning County Area Court in Boardman, and his case was transferred to Mahoning County Common Pleas Court during a preliminary hearing April 14. Bond was set at $50,000, and he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Also indicted Thursday was George W. Panno, 29, of Fifth Street in Struthers, on cruelty to companion animals with a firearm specification. He is alleged to have killed his dog, named Diesel, a male pit bull mix, on April 8.

Animal Charity of Ohio, Mahoning County’s Humane agency, reported that it investigated the case, finding that Panno drove the dog from Struthers to North Jackson and shot him three times in the woods.

A witness saw Panno walk into he woods with Diesel, heard shots and saw Panno walk back out of the woods alone, Animal Charity said on its Facebook page. The person called 911, and the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office responded, but Diesel died. Panno was still at the scene when deputies arrived.

Others indicted are:

• Braelin D. Douglas, 26, East Auburndale Avenue, cocaine possession and aggravated drug possession;

• Brandon R. Emery, 26, South Canfield Road, Canfield, tampering with evidence and cocaine possession;

• Mya Traylor, 20, Mahoning County jail, counterfeiting and falsification;

• Jason S. Klaas, 47, East Philadelphia Avenue, cocaine possession, two counts of fentanyl-related compound possession and single counts of possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Dante A. Thompkins Miller, 19, West Hylda Avenue, carrying a concealed weapon and illegal conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance in a school safety zone;

• Adam A. Perkins, 28, Mahoning County jail, cocaine possession with a specification of forfeiture of money in a drug case;

• Keimone L. Black, 29, Carlotta Drive, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle;

• Dominic F. Felletti, 45, Mahoning County jail, fentanyl-related compound possession, cocaine possession and aggravated drug possession;

• Robert T. Pence, 53, Ohltown Road, Austintown, aggravated drug possession;

• Steven W. Watters, 44, Trumbull Correctional Institution, Leavittsburg, two counts of aggravated drug possession;

• Kevin A. Clover, 39 Trumbull County jail, theft and petty theft;

• Dario D. Valentini, 41, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession, inducing panic, obstructing official business and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Deonci’a A. Moore, 21, Dayton, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility.
