YOUNGSTOWN ä The Youngstown City School District (YCSD) welcomes Stacy Quinones as the new communications and public relations specialist.

Quinones brings over 10 years of experience in the communications and nonprofit sectors, including serving as a communications adjunct instructor, working with first-generation college students in college prep and overseeing communications at a university foundation.

âStacyás vast skills as a communications professional, as well as her prior roles in higher education, make her an asset to the YCSD team,ã Justin M. Jennings, YCSD CEO said. âWe are thrilled to have her as a part of the next chapter for YCSD as we prepare for the future.ã

âI am beyond excited to be working with Youngstown City Schools and being hands-on to continue to tell the districtás story,ã Quinones said.

Quinones is a Youngstown native and received her Master of Arts in communication and development sudies from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies from Youngstown State University. Quinones serves as a board member for the YWCA of the Mahoning Valley and is a certified nonprofit professional through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
