Authorities seek woman tied to shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — The U.S. Marshals Service and Youngstown Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding C’Mone Thomas, 22, who authorities want to arrest in connection to the Dec. 30 shooting death of Joseph Addison, 42.

Thomas, 22, is 5-foot-5, 135 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Law enforcement previously arrested Marquez D. Thomas, 24, on aggravated murder, three counts of felonious assault and other charges in the case. He is being held in the Mahoning County jail in lieu of $1.1 million bond after his arraignment Monday in Youngstown Municipal Court.

Addison was killed and three others were wounded in an early-morning episode at an apartment complex on Tyrell Avenue on the West Side.

Wounded were two men, 34 and 21, and a woman, 26. The shootings were reported at 4:30 a.m.

Judge Carla Baldwin arraigned Thomas on the murder and felonious assault charges and possessing a fentanyl-related compound. He is scheduled to return to court Monday for a preliminary hearing.

Marquez D. Thomas had an address on Glenellen Avenue last March, according to court records.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-866-4WANTED, or by texting keyword “WANTED” and tip to TIP411 (847411). Tipsters may remain anonymous and reward money may be available.
