Nonprofit still accepting presents for area families

YOUNGSTOWN — Beatitude House is still collecting gifts for its families this holiday season.

Through donations received by community members, the agency is able to provide families in its program with a wonderful Christmas. This holiday season, an Amazon Registry link offers wish list items for the families and can be found on the website, beatitude house.com, by clicking events.

Donations can be purchased through the link and shipped directly to the administration office. The agency asks that donors make their purchases by Dec. 10.

Santa’s Workshop also will take place this month for the agency’s children to select gifts for their mothers, wrap them and put them under the Christmas tree. Santa’s Workshop is possible through the kindness and generosity of donors. Items such as gloves, scarves, purses, slippers and dish towels are needed. Beatitude House is not able to accept open-flame candles.

Anyone interested in donating to the workshop should bring their unwrapped gifts to Beatitude House’s administrative offices, 238 Tod Lane, on the campus of St. Edward Parish. Donations are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All gifts must be received by Dec. 10.
