Craig Beach woman found dead

CRAIG BEACH — A woman was found dead inside a Jersey Street home Friday night, but police are not releasing many details.

Michelle Shaffer, who is in her 60s, was the victim, according to a report. The police chief said the death is under investigation.

Neighbors told police they heard gunshots around 8 p.m. Friday, a report states.
