Police activity reported Oct. 4-10:
Oct. 10 — Officers dispatched a raccoon in the 20 block of Emerald Court.
Oct. 10 — Vanessa Stokes, 31, 3004 Hudson Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (heroin) and was issued a summons for driving while under suspension.
Oct. 10 — A 17-year-old Boardman girl was issued a summons for underage alcohol possession following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard for a speeding vehicle (55 in a 35 zone).
Oct. 9 — Luke Eusebio, 26, 7 Hunters Woods, Canfield, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on East Main Street.
Oct. 9 — Eymonnai Pearce, 19, 2728 Burbank Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for drug abuse (marijuana) following a traffic stop on Fairground Boulevard.
Oct. 9 — Cullen Brady, 22, 47906 Metz Road, New Waterford, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired following a traffic stop on South Broad Street.
Oct. 7 — Daniel Harigan IV, 48, 2109 Milton St., Warren, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe) and was cited for driving while under suspension following a traffic stop on North Broad Street.
Oct. 7 — A 16-year-old Campbell boy was issued a summons to the Juvenile Justice Center for possession of drug paraphernalia (a vaporizer with a THC cartridge) following a call to Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road regarding a student lending out his backpack to other students.
Oct. 7 — A 17-year-old Struthers boy was issued a summons to the Juvenile Justice Center for possession of drug paraphernalia (two vaporizers containing THC) following a call to MCCTC, 7300 N. Palmyra Road regarding a found book bag containing the paraphernalia.
Oct. 6 — A 16-year-old Canfield boy was cited for failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash at 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
Oct. 6 — A 13-year-old Struthers boy was transported to the police station after being identified as a Struthers runaway juvenile, and was released to the custody of his mother.
Oct. 6 — Jerry Ayala, 39, 20 S. Wickliffe Circle, Austintown, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.
Oct. 6 — James Porter, 47, 3543 LaSalle Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Herbert Road.
Oct. 6 — Joselito Vazquez, 44, 3112 West 71st St., Cleveland, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Boardman-Canfield Road.
Oct. 5 — Alden Baumgartner, 28, 6129 Chidester Drive, Canfield, was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on West Main Street.
Oct. 5 — A 16-year-old Canfield girl was cited for assured clear distance following a two-vehicle crash on North Broad Street.
Oct. 4 — A 14-year-old Canfield boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for drug abuse (THC pen) and a 15-year-old Canfield boy was referred to the Juvenile Justice Center for obstructing official business, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, drug abuse (THC pen) and underage tobacco possession following a call to Canfield High School.
