Police activity reported Oct. 7-14:

Oct. 14, 3:40 p.m. –Richard W. Lightner, 37, 267 S. Main St., Austintown, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments (crack pipe and syringes), and Salvatore Pascarella, 42, 7358 West Blvd., Boardman, was arrested on charges of drug abuse (Fentanyl), drug abuse (cocaine) and possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia (crack pipe and syringes) following a traffic stop on Elmwood Avenue.

Oct. 13, 3:22 p.m. — David J. Serekak, 28, 440 E. Church St., Marion, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following a call to 4553 Deer Creek.

Oct. 12, 3:23 p.m. — Frederick T. Easterly, 39, 1944 Manhatten Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft following a shoplifting call at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

11:20 a.m. — Lakeisha M. Carter, 42, 17 E. Fairlawn Ave., Youngstown, was charged with child endangerment following a call to Stewart Health Urgent Care, 20 Ohltown Road, for a 3-year-old boy saying he could not find his mom.

9:20 a.m. — Matthew S. Burns, 49, 257 N. Edgehill Ave., Austintown, was arrested on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools following a shoplifting call at Family Farm and Home, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

1:21 a.m. — Sidney Smith, 43, 60 N. Kimberly Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

12:03 a.m. Stephanie L. Swiger, 21, 333 Westminister Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a charge of possession of Methamphetamine and was cited for driving while under suspension following a traffic stop on North Meridian Road.

Oct. 11, 12:31 p.m. — Theft of a phone left on top of a vehicle reported at 5480 Norquest Blvd.

Oct. 10, 7:12 a.m. — Aaron J. Ward, 26, 3797 Huntmere Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence after police responded to a 9-1-1 hang up.

Oct. 8, 2:24 p.m. — Theft of a wine box reported at 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road. Oct. 7, 12:04 p.m. — A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at Save-A-Lot, 1715 S. Raccoon Road.

Oct. 6, 10:13 p.m. — Private property accident investigation reported 5499 Mahoning Ave. Jerry Ayala, 39, 50 Westminster Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a Canfield warrant for failure to appear. Pamela D. Adams, 58, 3463 Orchard Hill Drive, Austintown, was arrested on an undisclosed Portage County warrant.

4:48 p.m. — Criminal damaging of a vehicle mirror reported at the intersection of North Four Mile Run and East Webb roads.

Oct. 5, 9:12 p.m. — Theft of a backpack from the trunk of a vehicle reported at 1806 Paisley St.

4:32 p.m. — Theft of cash reported at 339 Westminster Ave.

11:49 a.m. — Break-in and theft of fixtures reported at 3917 Brandomyne Ave.

12:13 a.m. — Irate male reported at Ice Breakers Pool Hall, 5560 W. Webb Road. Trevor S. Eash, 32, 1131 Ohltown Road, Austintown, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Oct. 4, 2:30 p.m. — Breaking and entering reported at Ply-Trim, 550 N. Meridian Road. Frank R. Howley, 41, 4018 Lanterman Road, Austintown, was arrested on Austintown warrants for breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, criminal damaging and grand theft.

2:12 p.m. — Employee theft reported at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. Elliot Y. Carrasco, 24, 1659 Wellington Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a theft charge.

1:26 p.m. — Theft of a tire and rim from a vehicle reported at 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 3, 12:39 a.m. — Fight reported at 69 Westminster Ave., Austintown. Joshua M. Atwood, 32, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Oct. 2, 2:27 p.m. — Keying of a vehicle reported at 2276 Sprucewood Court.

Oct. 1, 6:25 p.m. — Theft of $100 reported at Marco’s Pizza, 4381 Kirk Road.

12:30 p.m. — Shoplifting reported at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. Dorma M. Anneman, 71, 427 Ohio Ave., Warren, and Carl P. Thompson, 34, 119 Arhaven Drive, Newton Falls, were each arrested on theft charges.

5:51 a.m. — Traffic stop reported following a domestic altercation with a knife at 943 Compass West. D’Anthony C. Brown, 28, was arrested on charges of domestic violence, felonious assault and operating a vehicle while impaired.

Sept. 30, 4:48 p.m. — Theft of a wallet and contents reported at 850 N. Meridian Road.
