3 more men arrested in robbery, abduction

YOUNGSTOWN — Three more people charged in the Oct. 5 aggravated robbery and abduction of a man from Loveland Road have been taken into custody.

Last week, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force Youngstown Division arrested Undrel A. Fletcher, 21, of Everett Avenue on a warrant charging him with complicity to aggravated robbery and abduction and assault.

On Wednesday, three other suspects turned themselves in to the task force. They are Anthony E. Ellison, 21, of Valerie Drive and Kyle A. Ellison, 20, of Shadyside Drive — both charged with aggravated robbery and abduction.

Keith A. Ellison, 20, also of Shadyside Drive, is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and abduction.

Anthony Ellison and Keith Ellison are additionally charged with misdemeanor assault, and Kyle Ellison is additionally charged with felonious assault.

No hearings are scheduled for them in Youngstown Municipal Court.

The charges are related to a man being abducted from Loveland Road and being assaulted. Residents in the 3500 block of Loveland on the South Side reported a man being assaulted at 3:09 p.m. Oct. 5 by a group of men and a woman.

When police arrived, they spoke to the victim, 23, who said a man contacted him about money the victim owed. Then, the man showed up at the victim’s home in a red Chrysler 300, with three more men and a woman in the car.

The victim went to the end of his driveway to talk to the man, but the people grabbed him, put him in the car and drove away.

While he was in the car, he was punched, causing cuts and bruises, according to a police report. A short time later, they brought him back home and let him out. They had left the area before police arrived, the report states.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for evaluation. Police said the victim had scrapes and bruises on his upper torso and face.

Family members of the victim told police the day of the attack that the family has a protection order against the woman, who is the victim’s former girlfriend.
