CANFIELD — An auction of the fiberglass roosters that were created for the 175th annual Canfield Fair has been postponed until March 26, organizers announced.

The auction originally was planned for mid-November, but moving it to March will allow for more time to properly plan and execute the event.

“We want to make sure that we are doing our best to recognize the dedication and support of the sponsors and the hard work and efforts of the artists. Additionally, we hope that by March, we as a community, will be in a better situation to gather indoors as a group,” a news release from the Canfield Fair Rooster Statue committee states.

The live auction will take place at the Event Center at the fairgrounds.
