Local Democrats are hosting a sign distribution and postcard event Thursday afternoon behind the Pinetree Plaza in McKinley Heights.

The signs, promoting “fair districts,” will be distributed 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in a drive-thru event behind the Trumbull County Democrat Headquarters, 36 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles. Motorists should enter the back lot at Pinetree Plaza near Handyman Hardware and drive to the blue canopy. Volunteers will load the signs and free facemasks into each vehicle.

Additionally, postcards completed at the event will be delivered to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Secretary of State Frank LaRose promoting “fair districts” later this month.

The Trumbull County Democratic Party, Mahoning / Trumbull County Democratic Women’s Caucus and Trumbull County Young Democrats are hosting the event.
