City police investigate homicide
YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating the death of a 45-year-old city man found 1 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Hughes Street.
The body was found when Youngstown police detectives were called to the address to conduct a welfare check, according to a police report.
The death is being treated as a homicide, according to the report. The department’s crime scene unit and the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office were called to the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released.
