Over the July 4 holiday weekend, the Mahoning Valley saw 14 new COVID-19 cases with the state seeing 210, bringing the statewide total to 1,112,499 since the pandemic began.
COVID-19 deaths are at 20,344, as was reported on Friday by the Ohio Department of Health. The ODH provides death information on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Total cases in Mahoning County rest at 22,436, an increase of seven. The death total in the county is 608.
In Trumbull County, total cases sit at 16,605, an increase of six, with 485 deaths.
In Columbiana County total cases are at 9,054 and increase of one death at a total 236.
