West Side home damaged by firebomb
YOUNGSTOWN — A home in the 400 block of North Bon Air Avenue on the West Side caught fire at a little after midnight Wednesday, apparently because of a fire bomb thrown through a front window.
The fire is being investigated as a possible arson. No one was injured.
Police spoke to a person who said he or she heard glass breaking, then saw flames coming from the front of the house.
The Youngstown Police Department has been called to the home close to 20 times over the past year for a variety of issues, police records show.
