BOARDMAN — A Colorado man is facing charges after law enforcement responded to the Red Roof Inn in Boardman on Thursday afternoon.

Timothy Geisler, 57, of Colorado Springs, was arrested on charges of obstruction and resisting arrest, police Chief Todd Werth said.

The Boardman police department assisted the Secret Service in Cleveland at its request, he said. Geisler is said to have made threats.

The call was responded to around 1:30 p.m.

The tactical team was deployed as a precaution, and Geisler came out of the room in which he was staying, Werth said.

A hatchet and several knives were confiscated from the room. Werth said Geisler was passing through the area.
