State bar awards $447K in grants to Ohio nonprofits
The Ohio State Bar Foundation has awarded $447,247 in grants to Ohio nonprofits this spring to educate citizens about the rule of law and improve the justice system.
According to a news release, the highest awards included $116,000 to the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education; $100,000 to Ohio Legal Help to improve its website to include topics on disability, civil rights, fair housing and employment discrimination; and $76,489 to the National Center for State Courts for a technoligy pilot program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
