Police activity reported May 26-June 6:

June 6, 3:05 p.m. — Security check reported at the Poland Library, 311 South Main St.

June 5, 10:30 p.m. — Security check reported following an alarm drop at the Poland Library. Nothing was found.

7:25 p.m. — A security check was made but nothing found following notification of an alarm drop at 209 Nesbitt St.

June 4, 2:46 a.m. — Security check reported at Poland Community Baseball, 310 Sheridan Road. Nothing was found after storm door was reported open.

May 31, 1:14 a.m. — Mutual aid assistance was provided to Boardman police after an officer-in-trouble signal was sent out regarding a fight in progress at Days Inn, 7393 South Ave.

11:02 p.m. — Security check reported for an audible alarm in the area of Island Drive and Sheridan Road.

May 30, 4:20 p.m. — Juvenile delinquents reported at Fireman’s Field on Riverside Drive. Three male juveniles on top of the first base dugout were told not to return unless they were participating in an organized sport.

May 26, 4:44 a.m. — Security check reported at McKinley Elementary School, 7 Elm St. A door was found partially ajar.

5:23 p.m. — Jason M. Fox, 31, 777 Maple Ridge Drive, Youngstown, was arrested for possession of drugs (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia (metal grinder), and was cited for driving while under suspension and improper display of plates.
