The Ohio Department of Health reported 154 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, reflecting how cases statewide and locally are fewer than even a month ago.
The increase moves the statewide total to 1,110,700, with Mahoning County adding three cases since Saturday, and Trumbull and Columbiana each adding one.
There have been 20,281 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
Mahoning County has a total of 22,409 coronavirus cases, 1,075 hospitalizations and 603 deaths.
There are 16,579 cases reported in Trumbull County, along with 1,219 hospitalizations and 485 deaths.
Columbiana County has 9,045 cases, 503 hospitalizations and 233 deaths.
Vaccinations in Mahoning County are up to 46.20 percent. Trumbull County has 43.89 percent of people vaccinated, while Columbiana County has 37.26 percent.
In the Mahoning Valley, Mahoning is the closest to the state's average with 46.2 percent, (105,654 people) having received at least one dose of the vaccine since they have been available.
Trumbull has 43.89 percent, (86,886 people) receiving at least one shot since the vaccines have been available, according to state records.
Columbiana has 37.26 percent (37,957 people) receiving at least one shot of the vaccine.
