Truck rolls against turnpike bridge
NORTH JACKSON — A dump truck rolled over against an Ohio Turnpike bridge in North Jackson early Tuesday with turnpike engineers called to make sure there is no major damage to the overpass.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the truck rolled and struck the overpass abutment on Mahoning Avenue beneath the turnpike ramp before 10:30 a.m. The truck driver had minor injuries.
Traffic was slowed in the eastbound lane of Mahoning Avenue, but the bridge and road remained open.
