OSP investigating weekend crash on state Route 11
LIBERTY — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a Sunday afternoon crash on state Route 11 that injured a man and sent four children to the hospital.
The patrol reported receiving a call after 1:20 p.m. Sunday after a person driving an SUV in the northbound lane on Route 11 lost control and crashed ending in the median. Reports indicate the man was thrown from the vehicle and received minor injuries.
Weather conditions at the time had heavy rain and sleet, which may have played a factor in the crash, the patrol said. Reports indicate four children in the vehicle were taken to the hospital to be checked.
Traffic was delayed in the area of the Tibbetts Wick Road exit of the highway.
