Lisbon man dies in Goshen accident

The Canfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that happened Thursday evening on U.S. Route 62 near Duck Creek Road in Goshen Township.

The patrol report states an SUV driven by Stefan Guy, 33, of Lisbon, went left of center, hitting a pickup driven by Lisa Crammer, 49, of Salem, head on.

Guy died later at Salem Regional Medical Center, while Crammer is in serious condition there, the report states. Guy was not wearing a seatbelt, the report states. Crammer was restrained, according to the report.

Meanwhile, the man who was injured while clearing a road of a wind-blown tree in Fowler Township March 26 has died.

Sgt. Mike Wilson of the Southington post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that Bradley Ronyak, 30, of Cortland, died of his injuries Thursday at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Reports show Ronyak was struck by an eastbound vehicle during a March 26 wind storm as he was clearing a tree from Bradley Brownlee Road. The 25-year-old driver of the eastbound vehicle was not hurt, the patrol report states. Ronyak was a teacher at Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Champion and a girls soccer coach at Maplewood High School.
