Salem woman pleads to crash with injury

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mary T. Driscoll, 59, of Youngstown Salem Road in Salem, pleaded guilty Thursday to vehicular assault in a Dec. 4, 2019, crash on state Route 62 in Milton Township that injured the driver of another vehicle.

Judge Maureen Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court will sentence Driscoll at 10 a.m. May 11.

Driscoll was under the influence or alcohol and / or drugs and traveled left of center, hitting another vehicle head on, authorities said.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered a broken bone.

Driscoll could get up to 18 months in prison. She has a prior drunken driving conviction from 2015.
