City man indicted on rape charge

YOUNGSTOWN — The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Anthony M. Consiglio, 26, on Thursday and took him to the Mahoning County jail after a grand jury indicted him on seven charges, including rape.

Consiglio also was indicted on attempted rape, aggravated robbery, robbery, theft from a person in a protected class, domestic violence and obstructing official business. If convicted, he could get about 40 years in prison.

Consiglio had charges bound over from Campbell Municipal Court to the grand jury earlier this month.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Ronnie E. Bennett, 19, Elm Street, Struthers, carrying a concealed weapon and using weapons while intoxicated;

• Marquis W. Barbel Jr., 21, Mahoning County jail, felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence;

• Michael S. Jackson, 32, Idora Avenue, cocaine possession, aggravated drug possession and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Donna D. Comtois, 52, Ridgelawn Avenue, aggravated burglary and felonious assault;

• James A. Thomas, 28, Mahoning County jail, aggravated drug possession;

• Henry A. Fleeton, 54, Wilbur Avenue, cocaine possession and fentanyl related compound possession;

• Lisa L. D’Altorio, 40, South Heights Avenue, misuse of credit cards and receiving stolen property;

• Rodney A. Phillips, 26, Mahoning County jail, grand theft of a motor vehicle;

The grand jury refused to indict Curtis Bodkins, 27, on a charge of sexual battery.
