According to the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, on Jan. 6, 2021, law enforcement officers with the FBI, Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes and Law Enforcement task forces executed a search warrant at the defendant's Wesley Avenue home on the West Side. Investigators discovered a semi-automatic pistol and about $26,000 in cash.

If convicted, the defendant's sentence will be determined by the federal court after a review of factors unique to this case, including the prior criminal record, the defendant's role in the offense, and the characteristics of the violation.
