2 teens arrested in Campbell
CAMPBELL — Two juveniles are in custody, accused of involvement in a weekend shooting in Campbell.
They turned themselves in and face charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault. Both were in the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center as of Monday afternoon.
Two individuals went to the Campbell Red Devil Drive-Thru on McCartney Road Saturday afternoon, pulling a gun and demanding money, said Campbell police Lt. Kevin Sferra.
The clerk did not want to hand over money, Sferra said, and tried going to a back room. The suspects then fired two shots and fled, Sferra said.
There were no injuries and no money was taken.
Through Crime-stoppers, family of the two juveniles recognized them, spoke with them and took them to the police department, Sferra said.
