YOUNGSTOWN — A dirt bike rider was injured in a collision with a car Saturday in Youngstown.

According to Youngstown police, the accident occurred at 5:34 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Florida Avenue and Shady Run Road.

A silver Mazda struck the dirt bike, which was “popping a wheelie” at the time of the collision, according to a police report.

The rider was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. No information was available on the rider’s condition.
