COITSVILLE — The driver of a northbound crane truck told troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol that a southbound snow plow crossed the center line on state Route 616, causing him to move right and overturn off of the side of the road.

The incident happened at 7:45 a.m. Monday.

The overturned truck required authorities to close the section of Route 616 between McGuffey Road and Oak Street until the truck could be righted and pulled back onto the road at about 1:30 p.m.

Two towing companies brought a variety of trucks and other equipment and personnel to the scene to carry out the job.
