Police activity reported Sept. 1-29:

Sept. 29, 6:37 a.m. — Civil complaint between two tenants reported at 89 W. Marshall Road after woman reported a man was digging through a trash can and throwing garbage on the ground. When police arrived, two people were arguing. Police advised them to speak to their landlord.

Sept. 28, 7:01 a.m. — Death reported at 550 Ohio Ave. after a woman was found deceased at the senior apartment complex.

Sept. 27, 10:49 p.m. — Crash reported on Sixth Street after two vehicles hit each other. Minor damage to both vehicles reported.

Sept. 23, 11:24 a.m. — Suicide concern of resident reported at 1009 Illinois Ave. Resident was concerned for a man who was later at a behavioral health services agency in Boardman.

Sept. 20, 9;13 p.m. — Criminal damage reported at 438 Grant Ave. after ongoing dispute between two people. Woman reported a man tried to force his way into a house and stuck his foot in the doorway and refused to leave. A window of the house also was broken.

Sept. 19, 9:09 p.m. — Disturbance reported at 440 Dakota Ave. after a woman reported receiving threatening phone calls.

Sept. 18, 11:04 p.m. — Runaway juvenile reported at the Learning Tree, Ohio Avenue, after a 9-year-old ran into woods near Third Street and later was seen running off Salt Springs Road near the Summit Assembly Church. Juvenile later was found and taken to the police station, and parents were contacted.

8:49 a.m. — Domestic violence reported at 1019 Pennsylvania Ave.

7:22 a.m. — Unruly juvenile reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after she left house on bike and went to Niles.

7:15 a.m. — Harassing text messages reported at 418 Grant St. after resident told people to leave her alone.

Sept. 17, 6:12 p.m. — Found property reported at 820 New Jersey Ave. after a gun was found laying in the grass on side of the road. Police took the weapon.

Sept. 16, 2 p.m. — Found property reported on Ohio Avenue after a black-and-red Adidas bag with two cellphones inside was found at corner of Grant and McKinley avenues.

Sept. 15, 10:48 p.m. — Crash investigation with possible injuries reported on Ohio Avenue.

1:33 p.m. — Criminal damage reported at 1040 Illinois Ave. after telephone wires wrapped around a branch of a tree. The cable company was called.

Sept. 12, 10 p.m. — Underage consumption reported on Pennsylvania Avenue after four juvenile who were underage were found drinking behind Woodland Park.

Sept. 10, 7:21 p.m. — Domestic dispute reported at 328 Hayes Ave. after man and woman were arguing in a front yard.

Sept. 9, 10:06 p.m. — Custody dispute over a juvenile reported at 451 Ohio Ave. after a woman would not let man have daughter.

9:56 p.m. — Neighbor dispute reported at 1049 Annabelle Ave. after a man showed up at house with a gun arguing he wanted his tools back. Man made threats to another man and his family.

11:24 p.m. — Domestic violence reported at 624 Illinois Ave. after female locked herself in bedroom while male was beating door down trying to get inside.

Sept. 6, 10:18 p.m. — Unruly juvenile reported at 347 Grant Ave. after juvenile was being uncooperative.

9:54 p.m. — Aggravated menacing reported at 522 Illinois Ave. after threats were being made on Snapchat.

Sept. 5, 3:37 p.m. — Domestic violence reported at 317 Hayes Ave. after two children got out and ran from a house. Police asked other children at park if they had seen the children. When police found the children, they claimed they were being hurt. Matter referred to Trumbull County Family Court.

Sept. 4, 7:20 p.m. — Village official checking on an abandoned house at 427 Grant St. found spray paint that may have been the same spray paint used for vandalism done at Woodland Park.

Sept. 3, 6:37 a.m. — Unsecured property reported on Freed Avenue after someone kicked door down and then left keys.
