Austintown woman shot in her home
AUSTINTOWN — A woman was shot in the leg Thursday night in her home in the 500 block of Four Mile Run Road.
The woman was trying to protect her three children and was shot in the leg, according to a police report. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Two men were also in the house when the shooting took place. They were gone when police arrived, the report states.
Austintown police are investigating.
