One hospitalized after rollover crash

YOUNGSTOWN — One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash near the Four Seasons Flea Market on U.S. Route 422.

The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. in the parking lot of a plaza that houses a Save-A-Lot grocery store, Premier Bank and Buddy’s Cafe, just west of the flea market and the Campbell border. The four-door white sedan was severely damaged after police said it hit a utility pole, shearing it almost in half, and rolling over into a grassy area.

Part of Route 422 was closed for a brief time after the crash, with traffic being diverted through the plaza. The flea market was open and the crash attracted numerous onlookers.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
