2 shootings reported in Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN — City police are investigating two incidents where shots were fired into two homes in separate incidents Sunday evening.
After hearing gunfire shortly after 7 p.m., a resident went outside and collected three .45 caliber spent casings lying in the middle of the street near the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and North Osborne Avenue on the West Side, a police report states.
About 6:30 p.m., a second police report states officers observed several bullet holes in a house in the 100 block of Millet Avenue, also on the West Side. They collected a 7.62 shell casing in the driveway and a .45-caliber shell casing in the street in front of the home.
