Police blotters – Poland

Police activity reported July 2-21:

July 21, 1:55 a.m. — Frankie E. Lockett, 29, 1139 Spring St., Niles, was charged with operating a vehicle without a valid license, was cited for improper display of plates and speeding (45 in a 25 zone), and was arrested on a Youngstown warrant for failure to appear on drug paraphernalia charges following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224.

July 15, 4:21 p.m. — Following a call to the Poland Library regarding two juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles, a 13-year-old Poland boy and a 12-year-old Poland boy were each charged with criminal trespassing and criminal damaging.

12:57 a.m. — A dark-colored sedan was reported to have fired rounds at a resident on Sheridan Road south of Mathews Road. Police were unable to located the vehicle.

July 14, 5:54 p.m. — Brad A. Ruozzo, 36, 220 E. Jackson St., Lowellville, was charged with driving while under suspension, failure to reinstate, and motorcycle endorsement required, was cited for helmet and glasses required, and was taken into custody on a Girard Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply with a court order following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224.

July 10, 3:10 a.m. — Sam Daviduk, 24, 1324 Dogwood Lane, Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension, possession of marijuana and speeding (42 in a 25 zone) following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224.

July 7, 10:20 a.m. — Robert C. Henderson, 23, 290 N. Hubbard Road, Lowellville, was arrested on a Girard Municipal Court warrant for domestic violence following a traffic stop on West McKinley Way.

July 5, 9:37 p.m. — Fireworks complaint reported in the 400 block of South Main Street.

2:49 a.m. — Backup was provided to Boardman police regarding a fight at 1865 Oles Ave., Youngstown.

July 3, 8:02 p.m. — Shane C. Stein, 24, 495 Airport Road, Warren, was arrested on a Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas warrant for aggravated possession of drugs, and Samantha J. Miletta, 28, 107 Vienna Road, Niles, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana following a traffic stop on U.S. 224.

July 2, 5:50 p.m. — Daniel A. Green, 38, 44 Water St., Poland, was charged with driving while under suspension and was arrested on a Campbell warrant for violation of a court order following a traffic stop on U.S. 224.
