Police activity reported Aug. 7-11:

Aug. 11, 3:07 p.m. — Theft of a wooden cabinet reported at 265 S. Edgehill Ave.

Aug. 10, 5:01 p.m. — Theft of medicine reported at Gateways, 230 Idaho Road.

Aug. 9, 7:36 p.m. Following a traffic stop on North Meridian Road that led to a vehicle pursuit that ended on McGuffey Road in Youngstown, James B. Black Jr., 37, 839 Plazaview Court, Youngstown, was arrested on a Mahoning County Common Pleas warrant for failure to appear and had a firearm seized because of a suspended carry-conceal permit, and was charged with a carrying a concealed weapon violation and failure to comply.

3:56 p.m. — Theft of a purse from a shopping cart reported in the parking lot of Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

11:44 a.m. — A vehicle was scratched at the Walmart parking lot, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Aug. 8, 7:49 p.m. — Andre K. Bailey, 36, of 94 N. Navarre Ave., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

12:07 p.m. — Following a report of a vehicle that was reported to be “all over the roadway” on South Raccoon Road that ended with a traffic stop on South Meridian Road, Heather L. Osner, 48, 4379 Devonshire Drive, Boardman, was charged with suspected driving while under the influence (officer’s observation), and was cited for failure to stay in a marked lane and improper right turn.

10:22 a.m. — Theft of fuel and a CB radio from two trucks reported at American Industrial Services, 3651 LeHarps Road.

Aug. 7, 10:53 p.m. — Eric J. Haas, 22, of 456 S. Raccoon Road, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

10:47 p.m. — Following a traffic stop on Crum Road, Terrill J. Blackshear, 34, 67 Euclid Blvd., Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension and possession of cocaine.

10:31 p.m. — Following a traffic stop on Bexley Drive, James D. Cooper, 58, 176 Aldrich Road, Austintown, was charged with suspected driving while under the influence (officer’s observation) and driving while under suspension, and was cited for failure to stay in a marked lane.

July 31, 1:59 a.m. — Wardell D. Prather, 40, 546 Wilkinson Ave., Youngstown, was charged with tampering with evidence, obstructing official business, assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle at 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

July 30, 8:27 p.m. — Seth W. Thomas, 20, 306 Jackson St., Campbell, was charged with criminal trespassing and violation of a protection order following a dispatch to 5675 Depauw Ave. regarding a person previously warned off the property.

12:37 p.m. — Theft of headphones from a shed reported at 2248 Innwood Drive.

July 29, 11:44 a.m. — A detached shed was broken into with nothing taken at 4246 Central Ave.

July 28, 5:38 p.m. — Theft of a purse and contents reported at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

4:55 p.m. — John A. McStowe IV, 45, 3888 New Road, Austintown, was arrested on an Austintown warrant for failure to appear following a call to 508 S. Raccoon Road regarding a suspicious person.

12:50 p.m. — Dennis P. Miller, 59, 103 W. Market St., Warren, was taken into custody on an Austintown warrant for theft following a dispatch to Hollywood Gaming, 777 Hollywood Drive, regarding a wanted person.

10:45 a.m. — Salvador H. Lopez, 28, 20 Fernwood Ave., Youngstown, was charged with assault following a call to McDonald’s, 5526 Mahoning Ave., regarding two employees fighting.

3:39 a.m. — A vehicle window was broken at 221 N. Roanoke Ave.

July 27, 11 p.m. — Michael K. Burton, 60, 3336 Winston Ave., Youngstown, was charged with assault following a call to 4685 Rhode Island Drive about a male who was assaulted.

7:49 p.m. — Don C. Perkins, 67, 734 Regal Drive, was arrested on two counts of domestic violence.

1:07 a.m. — Nickolas H. Johnson, 18, 179 Carnegie Ave., Austintown, was arrested on a Stark County warrant for complicity to commit improperly discharging of a firearm at or into a habitation following a call to Kirk Road near South Canfield-Niles Road regarding a male walking in the center of the eastbound lane.

July 26, 11:23 p.m. — Antwan D. Barnes, 29, 139 Carnegie Ave., Austintown, was charged with driving while under suspension and drug abuse following a traffic stop on Oakwood Avenue.

10:20 a.m. — Joshua A. Butler, 30, 566 12th St., Greenville, Pa., was arrested on a Trumbull County Eastern District Court warrant for failure to appear on possession of drug abuse instrument charges following a call to Home 2 Suites, 5580 Patriot Blvd., regarding a disturbance.

July 25, 5:39 p.m. — William J. Cochran, 45, 221 S. Main St., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

4:18 p.m. — Tiffany A. Fairley, 41, 4250 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, was charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest following a call to 1270 S. Turner Road regarding an unwanted person.

12:21 p.m. Sandra J. Keener, 67, 2077 Oak St., Warren, was charged with criminal trespassing following a call to Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., regarding a woman begging for money and having previously been warned off the property.

10:36 a.m. — Sugar was placed in a vehicle’s gas tank at 520 Westgate Blvd.

8:20 a.m. — Theft of a front license plate reported at 1775 Woodland Trace.
