No one injured in Youngstown shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — Police were called at 10:29 p.m. Tuesday to the 900 block of Burlington Street, where a woman, 21, said her girlfriend, 27, of West Dennick Avenue, shot at her car with her and her two children inside.

The victim said she was driving the other woman to the Valley View apartments, and they argued about their relationship. The victim stopped the car and ordered the other woman to get out.

The other woman got out, pulled out a gun and fired it at the victim’s vehicle, striking it twice. The first bullet went through the front windshield, and the second bullet struck the rear driver’s side bumper. No one was injured.

Officers recovered four spent bullet casings on Burlington and more ammunition under the passenger-side seat of the car. No charges are on file in Youngstown Municipal Court about the incident.
