Man arrested after woman says he fired gun at her three times.

YOUNGSTOWN — Marlin T. Black, 27, of Cambridge Avenue, was arraigned Wednesday on felonious assault, being a felon in possession a firearm, tampering with evidence, drug possession and receiving stolen property in a Monday incident involving the mother of his children.

The woman, 25, said Black fired a gun at her three times at his home at 12:59 p.m. Monday, but she was not injured.

She said Black was upset with her because she is pregnant with their fourth child. She said they argued throughout the morning Monday on the phone.

Then she went to his house, where she tried to talk to him through his surveillance system. As she was leaving, she heard two gunshots and saw him standing in the driveway.

She got back into her car and heard another gunshot, finding the window of her vehicle shattered.

She got out of the car and recorded him as he picked up a hell casing and went back in his home, she said. She started hitting the windows on the house and called 911.

When police arrived, they called to Black on a loudspeaker but he did not come out. Officers called for a crisis response team, but Black came out before the team arrived.

Officers found weapons in the house and arrested him, the report states.
