Two injured in Youngstown crash; one car struck pole then rolled over

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Police Department is investigating an early Sunday morning auto accident that injured two people on the city’s South Side.

Reports state emergency crews were called at 6 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of Hillman Street and Indianola Avenue where two cars were involved in a crash.

Reports state one of the vehicles struck a utility pole and flipped over. Both cars were heavily damaged. Debris from the accident was thrown all over the road, police said.

Two people were taken to the hospital, but their names and conditions were not available.
