HOWLAND — The Northeastern Ohio Children’s Rehabilitation Center has launched its 2020 online fundraising campaign.

The Facebook initiative replaces the large-scale “Change a Life” campaign that was set to start in April, but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organization has opted to take the fundraiser totally online through a donate button on its Facebook page, NEOChildrensRehabilitation. Additionally, NEOCRC’s annual “Reds, Whites & Brews” fundraiser, a significant source of revenue, also was canceled this past spring.

Not being affiliated with a national or regional organization, NEOCRC is greatly dependent on donations from individuals and businesses from the community. It also has relied heavily on financial support from the United Way and foundations.
